Alcohol Evaluation

A conviction or diversion of a DUI — and certain other alcohol offenses — requires an alcohol evaluation by an approved evaluator.

This meeting is a fact-finding process that allows the Court to review your background information and receive professional recommendations.

Who Must Have an Evaluation?

  • Anyone convicted of a DUI or alcohol offense
  • Anyone applying for diversion on an alcohol offense

Cost

  • $150 fee
  • Pay directly to the evaluator at the time of your appointment

Appointment Rules

  • Arrive 10 minutes early
  • Late arrival may cancel your evaluation

Missing your appointment could lead to

  • A warrant for your arrest
  • A required Court appearance the next Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. to explain why you should not be held in contempt
