Search Warrant Leads to Arrests

ARKANSAS CITY, KS — (DEC. 7, 2022) On December 5th, 2022, officers from the Arkansas City Police Department served a search warrant at 820 South D St., Arkansas City. Officers located residents of the home, Jeffery Lee Snow, age 62, of Arkansas City, and Brandi Jean Nichols, age 48, of Arkansas City. During the home search, officers located 4.01 grams of meth, 23 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia associated with drug sales, and a 25-cal. handgun inside the residence.

Jeffery Lee Snow was arrested and taken to the Cowley County Jail on charges of Distribution of Simulated Controlled Substances, Distribution of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Sale Paraphernalia felony, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia misdemeanor, Criminal Possession of Firearm, and No Drug Tax Stamp listing a bond of $22,000. Brandi Jean Nichols was arrested and taken to the Cowley County Jail on charges of Possession of Stimulant, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, listing a bond amount of $4,500.
