Police seek information regarding three vehicles stolen from lot

2013 Optima, 2015 Explorer, 2016 Ram stolen Sept. 25-26 at Bulldog Motors

Arkansas City Police Department badgeARKANSAS CITY, Kan. (Sept. 27, 2019) The Arkansas City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance with a recent burglary involving the theft of three vehicles from a local business.

Officers responded Sept. 26 to a report of burglary at Bulldog Motors, located at 800 N. Summit St.

They determined that unknown suspects had forced entry into the building some time either Sept. 25 or early Sept.  26 and, once inside, had removed keys to vehicles on the lot.

2013 Kia OptimaThree vehicles were stolen from the lot in this manner, according to ACPD Capt. Eric Burr.

2015 Ford ExplorerThe missing vehicles are a silver 2013 Kia Optima passenger car, a gray 2015 Ford Explorer sport utility vehicle and a black 2016 Dodge Ram pickup truck.

Investigators currently are following up on several leads in the case.
