City of Arkansas City logoThe City of Arkansas City has launched a new video feature called “City Matters” in partnership with Ark City Daily Bytes, a local multimedia company.

The weekly video series features City Manager Nick Hernandez answering questions from citizens on a wide variety of subjects. This week’s questions were gathered from several Facebook pages.

The first episode debuted this week and can be viewed here. It addresses dog waste stations, brick street maintenance and a proposal for licensing of tree trimmers.

Citizens who have questions they would like Hernandez to answer in upcoming episodes may email them to nhernandez@arkansascityks.gov, alawson@arkansascityks.gov or info@acdailybytes.com.

Questions also may be asked on the City’s Facebook page or the Ark City Daily Bytes Facebook page, or via the Citizen Request Center on the City website.

New videos will be posted once or twice a week, depending on the volume of questions asked.

Videos generally will be between five and 10 minutes long. Links to new videos will be posted on both the City and Daily Bytes Facebook pages each week.
