Welcome to the Arkansas City Bulldog Crime Stoppers serving the Arkansas City High School and the Arkansas City Middle School.  The program works in the same way as the traditional community Cowley County Crime Stoppers.  If a crime occurs on the Arkansas City High School or Middle School property or at school sponsored event, the Bulldog Crime Stoppers Board, made up of five students, will go into action.

Students will have options in reporting a crime anonymously, they can call the Bulldog Crime Stoppers hotline at 620-441-2023.  Once connected, they will be asked from a voice message to say if they are calling in regards to the High School or the Middle School.  They will then leave the tip regarding the crime and need to leave a contact number.  Once the tip is received, a member of the Bulldog Crime Stoppers board will then contact them via telephone and issue a crime stopper number.  Once the number is given, do not forget the number.  If the information that the student leaves leads to an arrest, return of property, or administrative action, the student could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $100.00.

The other option is to submit a tip via text message.  Text the word "ACTIPS" and the information, along with texting the word High School or Middle School to 847411.  The tip administrator will answer your text within minutes, so be prepared to receive a response and provide further information as necessary.  The tip administrator only sees a randomly assigned tipster number when you send the text, they do not see your name or phone number.  Your tip is 100% anonymous.  To submit an anonymous tip via the web, you can access the link on the City of Arkansas City Police Department  website under ACTIPS, or click here.

The Bulldog Crime Stoppers is designed to develop good leadership and citizenship skills in students for future community involvement with this program.  Students can look after one another and help make their schools a safe place.
