Newman’s Quest
Newman’s Quest was a week long camp for children June 7-11, 2004 sponsored by the Newman Cooperative for Ark City Youth. The camp was made possible through a bequest left by Craig Newman to the Arkansas City Public Library, the Chaplin Nature Center and the Cherokee Strip Land Rush Museum. The Newman Cooperative for Ark City Youth is the collaborative effort of these three entities to create better educational opportunities for the youth of Arkansas City.
Newman’s Quest 2005 is scheduled for June 6-10, 2005. Children 8-10 are encouraged to apply.
